OUR MISSION
To lead people to Christ and their God-given purpose
God created you with a specific purpose. You are here to accomplish something that no one else was created to do. The last thing we want is to get to the end of our lives and feel like we missed the signs, direction, and opportunity God presented to us.
We want you to know the reason you are on this earth is to live a fulfilling, abundant, full life – the exact kind of life Jesus promises!
OUR PURPOSE
The Great Commandment
When Jesus was asked “Which is the most important command?” He replied,
“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. ’This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
MATTHEW 22:37-40
The Great Commission
Jesus gave his disciples and all of us our marching orders right before he ascended into heaven – this is what he said:
“Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.”
MATTHEW 28:19-20
CORE VALUES
What we value determines what we do
The number one force that will shape our culture at Meadows. These are our seven core values:
WHATEVER IT TAKES
We will take risks and challenge the status quo in order to lead someone to Christ!
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”
LUKE 19:10
ALL ARE WELCOME
Regardless of where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or what you’re currently doing. You are not only welcome, you are wanted!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
JOHN 3:16
WE DO LIFE TOGETHER
Meadows Church is a family.
“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer”
ACTS 2:42
EVERYTHING WE DO, WE DO WELL
Regardless of where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or what you’re currently doing. You are not only welcome, you are wanted!
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
COLOSSIANS 3:22-23
FAITH ALWAYS = ACTION
Faith that doesn’t move is no faith at all.
“So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless”
JAMES 2:17
AS WE GROW, WE MULTIPLY
Because it was never just about any one church
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
MATTHEW 28:19
JESUS IS OUR AUTHORITY
If someone predicts His own death and resurrection, we’re with Him!
“Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.”
MATTHEW 28:5-6

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless,
like sheep without a shepherd.”
MATTHEW 9:36
OUR BELIEFS
What we believe determines how we operate and who we become
FAITH IN THE HOLY TRINITY
THE FATHER – We believe in one living and true God, both holy and loving, eternal, unlimited in power, wisdom, goodness, the Creator and Preserver of all things.
THE SON OF GOD – We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
THE HOLY SPIRIT – He is the Administrator of grace to all mankind. He is ever present, assuring, preserving, guiding, and enabling the believer.
“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God….So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.”
JOHN 1:1-14
THE WORD OF GOD
We believe that God’s Word is inspired and infallible. It is fully inerrant in their original manuscripts and superior to all human authority. You don’t fit the Bible in your life, you fit your life in the Bible. God’s Word has never failed man. It is a perfect road map that leads to eternal life with God.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.“
2 TIMOTHY 3:16
THE CHURCH
We believe that the Christian church is the entire body of believers in Jesus Christ, who is the founder and only Head of the church. We believe that the church was/is God’s only plan to save the world and is a powerful gathering of people beyond anything man could construct.
“Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build My church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.“
MATTHEW 16:18
THE ATONEMENT
We believe that Christ’s offering of Himself, once and for all, through His sufferings and death on the cross, provides the perfect redemption and atonement for the sins of the whole world, both original and actual.
“My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the One who is truly righteous. He Himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.“
1 JOHN 2:1-2
REPENTANCE AND FAITH
We believe that for men and women to appropriate what God’s prevenient grace has made possible, they must voluntarily respond in repentance and faith. The ability comes from God, but the act is the individual’s. Repentance begins by the convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit. It involves a willful change of mind that renounces sin and longs for righteousness, as well as a godly sorrow for and a confession of sin. Faith, in turn, is the only condition of salvation. It begins in the agreement of the mind and the consent of the will to the Truth of the gospel.
“And he said, “Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of His Name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: ‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’ You are witnesses of all these things.“
LUKE 24:46-48
THE SACRAMENTS: BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the sacraments of the church commanded by Christ and ordained as a means of grace when received through faith.
We believe that water baptism is an outward and visible sign of an inward transformation of the heart and should be administered to all believers.
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a sacrament of our redemption by Christ’s death and our hope in His victorious return, as well as a sign of the love that Christians have for each other.
“And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.“
1 PETER 3:21
